ManpowerGroup Employment Outlook Survey - Belgium
We asked 515 employers about their hiring plans for Q3 2022 and their difficulties filling vacancies due to lack of skilled talent. Despite a 9 percentage point decline, the Net Employment Outlook stands at a very favorable +25%. Talent shortages remain at very high levels in all three regions of the country: 76% at national level, 77% in Brussels, 75% in Flanders and 74% in Wallonia.
Net Employment Outlook: This figure is derived by taking the percentage of employers anticipating an increase in hiring activity and subtracting from this the percentage of employers expecting to see a decrease in employment at their location in the next quarter. The result of this calculation is the Net Employment Outlook.
